For the third year running, Traidcraft is one of the sponsors of the cyclone challenge and is providing fair trade cereal bars – Geobars – to give participants that additional energy boost. North east based Traidcraft is the UK's leading fair trade organisation and has been fighting poverty through trade since 1979 by building lasting relationships with producers, supporting people to trade out of poverty and working to bring about trade justice.

Join Team Traidcraft at the Northern Rock Cyclone

Traidcraft Exchange are looking for cyclists to take part in the Northern Rock Cyclone challenge on 12th June 2010 and raise funds to help people across the developing world to work their way out of poverty.

Cyclists can join Team Traidcraft by calling 0191 497 6445. As part of the team, you will receive a fundraising pack and T-shirt to wear on the day and will receive fundraising support.

Traidcraft Exchange, Traidcraft’s charity, works to enable poor producers in Africa and Asia to grow their businesses, find markets and engage effectively in trade. Times are tough for the hundreds of thousands of poor producers that we work with as they struggle to cope with huge environmental and financial challenges.
